About Us

Co-Founder and Chair – Susan Pottish – Susan’s experience spans an eclectic mix of arts, science, and sales, all of which form the orientation she brings to business—film editing and cinematography in New York and Los Angeles for nearly a decade introduced her to the dynamics and mechanisms of the commercial advertising and film industries, teaching music to children for three years gave her a basic insight into the power of relationship to create an atmosphere of cooperation and participation, doing clinical practice and research in biofeedback for seven years  gave her a sense of how simple, newly learned behaviors can break longstanding dysfunctional habits, and marketing products in the health and wellness industry for nearly a decade, including generating training materials and intensive seminars, allowed her to develop tools to enhance effective communication.  Education: BA in Psychology from Skidmore College, NY; Biofeedback Certification, BCIA.

Co-Founder and CTO – Jan Rippingale - Jan has been doing programming, technical design and business analysis for 17 years, starting with the roll-out of the first hand-held devices by Pepsi-Cola North America. She was the Director of Application Development for Priceline.com when it was launched in 1998. She has been doing web application development ever since this intense introduction to the internet.  Jan is the principle inventor of the “instant-add” technology.  Education: BS in  Chemical Engineering from Montana State University; USA Today’s All Academic First Team, Top 20 Undergraduates in US; Barry Goldwater Scholar, Top Undergraduate Science and Mathematics Award in US.

CEO – Michael Darnaud - Michael has over 20 years of experience in Product Marketing, Sales & Business Development, with domain expertise in mobile software, payments and search. As VP, Sales & BusDev at Kenai System (Web services security), he promptly built up revenue and strategic relationships that lead to its acquisition by a partner (Forum Systems). Similarly, while COO at Brixlogic (Web services), the company was acquired by its main partner, Diebold. At Whistle Communications (Internet appliances, acquired by IBM), he was in charge of Asia Pacific and closed multi-million dollar deals in Japan and Korea. Education: MBA from INSEAD, Engineering degree from the National Institute of Telecommunications, BA from the Sorbonne.
