Recorded demos

Below are three recorded demos comparing the i-Cue Design "instant-add" shopping experience to the typical mobile web cart solutions commonly found in the marketplace. Please note that the recordings were made on the Safari browser of an iPod touch, connected via an 802.11g (54 mbps) wireless router which is attached to a broadband cable modem. So, the times shown are as fast as can be expected on a typical mobile web connection. The server call is made with full signal strength — as indicated by the three bars displayed on the upper left corner of each demo screen — giving the fastest possible result.

In each demo, the shopping scenario is the same. Add three items to the cart on one page, add two items on another page. Research indicates this is a typical online shopping scenario.* We recommend viewing the one with i-Cue Design first. It will be easier to see how much slower the others are.

The cursor in the demo is a light gray disc, the new "bubble pointer" that emulates a fingertip. Watch it closely to see the clicks being made to add items and change pages.
